Business Transactions

We work with many types of business transactions. Together, often with the client’s accountant, after establishing the client’s goals, we help determine the most effective vehicle to protect the client including a Limited Liability Company, Limited Partnership or Corporation. We then take care of the required documentation to register the entity with both the State of California and the Internal Revenue Service. Further, we counsel the client regarding compliance with the provisions of the law in the course of the client’s on-going business.

Many times, when we are working with a client, we discover that little or no provision has been made for continuation of the business in the event of the principal’s disability or death. We work with the client to structure a succession strategy.
